Our Judge and Defender,

             Hear our cries for justice in the land! Deliver us from the unfair laws that bring destruction and shame upon your people. Revoke the laws made by the wealthy that are cruel and unjust to the poor. Restore to your servants the dignity and honor due them, in spite of godless courts and sinful rulers. Show this society how the great Judge and Defender protects his people from harsh and unwarrented punishment against the righteous. Take away legalized oppression that daunts the hopes and spirits of the poor and hungry. Bring once again streams of mercy and blessing to wash away the fear and frustration of your people.
   And let us be a part of the rescue mission.
