I totally agree with this. It is about decency, caring, empathy, and compassion. It’s about basic humanity.
This is the true foundation of a life well lived. It has nothing to do with what we get or what we may be given. The measure of a good life is about demonstrating love in all we do. It’s about how we have served those around us and what we have given to those most in need.
You cannot make this stuff up. Trump’s New York pastor has reported that not only did #BLOTUS never “opt in” for Bible Study…Trump never entered the church in the five years he was his pastor.
But, he is still adored and, dare I say, worshiped by right-wing evangelicals and republicans who loudly proclaim their love for the gospel. Go figure…
For all the evangelical right who still have the audacity to support Trump while calling themselves disciples of Christ, this hopefully will show you how far from being faithful followers you really are. Trump’s values are diametrically opposed to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
You can follow one or the other…not both. Your choice is clear as to where your values truly are.
