Kushner’s Financial Disclosure Amendments

Either his memory is even worse than mine (highly doubtful), or he has intentionally attempted to mislead and lie in order to get his undeserved security clearance. Most intelligent and thinking folks know it’s the latter,

This is but one of many criminal acts that deserve prosecution. When will he be tried for his crimes against my country?

a simple, but solid, working definition

When I think of #BLOTUS, his family and cronies, this quote immediately comes to mind. Never in my lifetime have I witnessed such unmitigated intolerance, lying and corruption focused in the hands of so few and accepted by so many.

a lie is a lie…

For the past several months we have watched Presidential candidates tell lie after lie. Within hours we have seen these same candidates deny the lies, even when the lies have been recorded. I cannot be the only one that finds this frightening.

In a world of deceit and lies, telling the truth is an act of rebellion. We are approaching the time when we need such a revolution, a revolution where those of us who care band together to speak the truth, even if it means we have to pay a steep price.

The first steep is paying attention. We do not have to accept lies. We have the power to say no to leadership based on deceit. Wrong is wrong no matter how often we are told differently.

Pay attention. Refuse to be silent. Speak out for the truth. Facts are far more powerful than opinions. And evil cannot survive if we stand for the good.

we always have a choice

This is a critical understanding for the world in which we find ourselves. Our society is sinking ever lower into a culture of anger, bitterness, hate-speech, disrespect, fear-mongering and deceit.

We may not be able to control the actions of those around us, But, we can always choose how we respond. We always have a choice.

Basic morality, basic decency, and mutual respect should be the norms that provide the framework for our society. I, for one, choose to live by those norms.

I am saddened to see those that speak and act in an intentionally divisive manner, purposely working to weaken and even break our bonds of community. But, I have a choice.  And I choose to live and act in the knowledge that all of us are one global family.

I choose to live in love. What about you?
