#ZeroHunger

Imagine #zerohunger.

Our generation is the first in history with the possibility of ending hunger forever. Think about what a world changer that will be. Working together we can create a world where every child is fed and not one of our human family goes to bed with an empty stomach.

What a powerful legacy to leave to our children and grandchildren. Creating a world with #zerohunger is both the right thing to do and is a powerful demonstration of our global community living more justly.

#zerohunger…lets make it happen. Let’s eradicate hunger in our lifetime.

massively wrong

I again find myself in agreement with Senator Sanders. Such massive economic inequality cannot be good for our nation. It rips apart any sense of community, and promotes a financial elite that hearkens back to an feudal era where obscenely rich oligarchs lived off the backs of peasants and serfs

This isn’t the American dream. This is not the nation I want.  And I doubt it’s the nation we want to leave to our children and our grandchildren.

changing the world

This is what I have always wanted. What makes it so much fun is that we’re actually doing it. We are making the world a better place.

Our society is tremendously flawed and tolerates unbelievable injustices to be perpetrated on the poor. Yet, we are still moving the world in the right direction.

The number of poor and hunger continue to go down. That’s success. The number of girls being educated is growing that’s success. More children have access to clean water. That’s success.

Working together we can create a better world. And like I already pointed out, it’s great fun. Let’s continue making it happen. Our children and our grandchildren will see it for what it is, a gift from our generation to theirs.
