we’re being scammed

We all have already heard how this tax bill for the middle class would put at least a billion dollars into Trump’s family coffers while increasing taxes on the rest of us and cutting needed services. Now they also want to help the ultra wealthy with a tax break on their private jets.

This is how revolutions are spawned. I am just totally surprised that there has not been more outrage demonstrated at the perpatrators of this grasp for more wealth and power.

for true covfefe lovers

The sheer ignorance of #BLOTUS is unmatched…except possibly by his arrogance. Of course, his total lack of morality, or even the size of his ego has to be also considered.

It’s no wonder the North Korean president calls him a dotard. It’s far more polite than what I call him.

And the Republicans still wonder why they cannot get a healthcare bill to fly…I admit I don’t know about rocket science, but even I know most folks want our government to help us. And in most cases that means not throwing 32 million of our citizens under the bus.

ramming through the “wealthcare” bill

This isn’t democracy at work…it is unadulterated greed;  partisan politics working to benefit the wealthy, with no pretense of helping those in our society with the greatest need. Every senator voting for this bill is sending a clear and unambiguous one-finger salute to the vast majority of our nation.

being grabbed by the…

Here is another quick snapshot of what it looks like when leaders do not give a damn about representing the people they were elected to serve. This is outrageous. None of those moving for these cuts would be impacted by them as they have the best health benefits imaginable.

The only impact for them is an “attaboy” from the #BLOTUS and millions of dollars in campaign funds from the Koch brothers. This isn’t leadership. It’s our elected leaders “grabbing us by the…” It’s rape.

Anyone following this story who isn’t outraged isn’t paying attention.

leadership in the wrong direction? or no leadership?

This is a snapshot of what it looks like when our “leaders” are willing to abandon any semblance of representing the majority of us to pass a bill that’s DOA. Their boss, the #BLOTUS, has threatened them and given them orders, and the Koch brothers have promised millions to them if they get in line.

Now, we just need to see which of them have the guts to do the right thing. The real leaders will do the right thing for the citizens of our country. The morally bankrupt will quack their way to the bank to see how much they earned for turning their backs on the nation.

Healthcare Partnership in India

Stop Hunger Now Launches Healthcare Outreach in India

Serving people in need in remote areas of India is the focus of a new partnership between the Kraft Heinz Company and Stop Hunger Now that grew out of a meal-packaging event last March with the Kraft Heinz India team.

The partnership includes providing mobile medical vans to the states of Bihar and Andhra Pradesh; delivering a milk and nutrition supplement to underprivileged children in the state of Odisha; coordinating the distribution of high-nutrient protein supplements to cancer patients in the city of Chennai; and holding a meal-packaging event. Together, we aim to reach 25,000 people by 2016.

In Bihar and Andhra Pradesh, Stop Hunger Now will serve as the primary partner for Kraft Heinz India for a three-year, $330,000 project. The first van was launched September 2 in Bihar in partnership with Society for Action in Community Health. On hand for the launch was Shri Giriraj Singh, India’s minister of state micro, small and medium enterprises.

In Odisha, the year-long project will provide a milk and nutrition supplement to 500 children in a residential care unit. Kraft Heinz India is providing the nutrition supplement for free and providing the cost of the milk to the local partners. Stop Hunger Now is coordinating the $50,000 project, which launched on September 1st.

In Chennai, the capital of the state of Tamil Nadu, we will coordinate distribution of 10,000 packets of Complan, a nutritional supplement drinks with protein, carbohydrate, and 26 vitamins and minerals, to patients undergoing treatment at the Adyar Cancer Institute.

In addition to packaging meals this October during World Hunger Action Month, Kraft Heinz India and Stop Hunger Now will be meeting with the company’s corporate social responsibility committee to talk about ideas and strategies for additional projects serving underprivileged populations.
