before and after…

What a difference a year makes. The United States has gone from a respected and much admired world leader, to a laughingstock and pariah. It’s all about trust and real leadership.

more than just embarrassing…disgusting & shameful

About the only thing worse than the #BLOTUS whining and attacking the press here at home, is watching him create havoc abroad. Seeing him shunned by real world leaders is embarrassing, even though understandable. Watching his nepotistic flaunting of Ivanka is worse than embarrassing. Watching him kiss Putin’s ring is just disgusting.

Why does Congress allow this man to remain in office? I, personally do not want a president that openly supports repressive regimes and seemingly idolizes their dictatorial leaders.

I do not want a leader that allows enemy operatives into the White House and gets orgasmic in the presence of our enemy’s leader. And I certainly do not want a leader who trusts the one openly attacking our democracy more than he trusts our own intelligence communities.

This man is under more federal investigations than I can count and has more lawsuits against him than any president in US history. He is a liar. He is totally untrustworthy, and he needs to be removed from office.

a short quiz

The #BLOTUS is more than a national embarrassment, or a national disgrace. He is a shameful example of the lowest elements of our society. There’s no need to wonder why our nation is no longer seen as a leader of the free world.

leadership 101

A real leader is a servant. A fake leader just uses lies, intimidation and brute force to get their own way, regardless of the cost to those they are supposedly leading. If an illustration would be helpful, take a look at the #BLOTUS.

He is the exact opposite of a real leader. He has become the “Lord of the Lies.” and the truth is never in him. His only concerns seem to be protecting his wealth and showing love to those attacking the democratic institutions of the United States, and his blustering attacks on the press and anyone else attempting to hold him accountable are a smoking gun in one tiny hand and a large red flag in the other.

Following this fake leader will not make America great again. He is already a public laughingstock among world leaders.

Our nation has lost its position of leadership in world affairs because we no longer have a real leader. We have a petulant man-child that needs to be adored, pampered and have someone change his diapers. That’s not a real leader.

real leaders don’t need titles

Real leaders demonstrate their vision, their plans, their commitment and their power, through action. They consistently work to empower those around them through encouragement, coaching and positive reinforcement. Real leaders are definitely not perfect, but they are always committed to making a positive difference in the world and for the world.

Then there are others, like the #BLOTUS, who just seek power to enrich themselves. Their vision extends only as far as their mirrors and their checkbooks. Fake leaders are easily recognized by their whining, their sensitivity to criticism, and their pathological inability to accept responsibility.

No one is obliged to follow a fake leader. No one is required to respect a fake leader.

The good news is that there are real leaders who care and are willing to make a real difference. They are the ones who provide true hope for the future of our world.

We can ignore the fake leaders. Their is hope. All we need to do is to follow the real leaders.

let’s not pretend…

Oops too late (Post-Election Poll Jump For trump - 54% of Americans think trump will succeed as president, and trump gets all-time high likability rating of 47%, up about ten points from pre-election . What's the matter with America????):

A follow-up to yesterday’s post, this powerfully direct statement by Eugene Robinson is a plea for all of us to stand up to the intentional destruction of common decency that the election of the #BLOTUS represents.┬áThe open misogyny, ugliness, and vindictive behavior of those in power should ┬ánever be normalized.

No person, especially the President of the United States, deserves respect when basic human decency seems to be a foreign concept to them. Leadership requires far more than wealth and power.

When children act inappropriately we are quick to teach them how to behave properly. Isn’t it time we do the same with the leader of the free world?
