Child Snatching Predator-in-Chief

Trump thinks separating children from their parents makes a good campaign strategy.  Modeling the shock and awe campaign after his hero and role model in Nazi Germany, he thinks it is red meat to his slavering base.

When is enough enough? This lying, racist predator and all the toadies stupid enough to support him need to be removed from office and tried for crimes against humanity. I want my country back.

celebrating Fathers Day Trump style

JESUS! What the hell has happened to Our Country....What’s happened to us as Americans....What’s happened to us that we stand by and watch a Horrible Human Being Destroy Everything we hold Dear as a Nation. This is wrong on every level and we All should be Ashamed. *American Concentration Camps For Children*

I do not give a damn what laws are on the books. Anyone not condemning such treatment of those seeking protection and asylum in our country is complicit with such blatant hatred and racism.

Trump’s greatness is the greatness of Nazi Germany, Stalin’s Russia, or any other dictator you care to name. There’s a vast difference between greatness and evil. And perpetrating evil never leads to greatness…never.

US Concentration Camps…for children

Somebody has to stop Trump! Not just trump! The entire administration!

This is a new low, even for an administration I thought could get no lower. Our nation has always had a policy of granting refuge to those seeking protection and asylum. Not any more; not under Trump.

Now we rip children from parents. We separate families asking for protection. We add to their trauma and their misery. Now we incarcerate them in concentration camps.

This is what Trump and his supporters call “Making America Great Again.”

in the face of evil

There are those who refuse to see. There are those that look the other way. There are those too busy to care. Then there are those who actively endorse and support this evil.  In the final analysis…they are all the same. Silence in the face of evil is complicity.

the #BLOTUS Boy Scout speech: blood-chilling

Photo published for Trump's 'Embarrassing Spectacle' At Boy Scout Jamboree Panned By Former Scouts

The video clips of yesterday’s speech to the Boy Scouts offer another clear demonstration of why all of us need to oppose this president and his lack of basic decency. The #BLOTUS did not try to inspire these young minds. Instead he demonized his 2016 defeated presidential opponent, and even had them booing her. And he loved every second of it.

I don’t give a damn what you think of Hillary. Allowing the President of the United States to stand in front of a massive United States flag while brainwashing young boys into taunting political rivals brings up images of Adolf Hitler in front of crowds of Nazi Youth.

The image far more than just vividly eerie. It’s blood-chilling.

the low road

Listening to the current Republican presidential debates one can draw a frightening comparison to the early growth of Hilter’s Nazi Germany. The hatred, racism, bigotry and name-calling is ugly, divisive and wrong.

Such rhetoric appeals to the fear and baser instincts of the unintelligent and uneducated, but does not reflect the moral and spiritual foundation of our nation. No nation will be called great that demonstrates the values of greed, fear and zenophobia being so loudly proclaimed by the two remaining Republican candidates for the highest office in the land.

Turning a blind eye in the late 1930s led to the deaths of untold millions and a global war whose impact is still being felt. All of us need to open our eyes and see what is happening. We need to open our ears and truly listen to what is being said.

Then we need to do whatever is necessary to insure our nation doesn’t take the low road. It’s the road that leads straight to hell.

sometimes it’s better to scream

We live in an age when values have changed, and continue to change. It is now acceptable to display boorish and uncivil behavior in public and even get applause for it. Today it is acceptable for public figures and nationally recognized political candidates to spew vindictive and racist remarks without fear of backlash.

I, for one, am tired of the hatred, the bitterness and repulsive rhetoric. I am reminded of the early days of Nazi Germany when Adolf Hitler used the same bombastic invective and appeal to fear to inflame his listeners.

We are better than that. When candidates for the highest office in the United States base their  campaigns on fear, on hatred, on racism, on indiscriminate destruction of entire populations, it is time to speak out.

I do not want a President who unabashedly flaunts immoral actions and behavior to appeal to the lowest common denominator. I do not want a leader who uses xenophobia and racial prejudices to appeal to the uneducated.

I may be in a distinct minority, but I remember a time when when such a person would be held up for ridicule and laughed off the stage. That such a clown is now taken seriously is a true indictment of the depths to which our nation has fallen.

If we elect such a man to lead our nation we deserve whatever befalls us.
