As more and more of the Republican in the House and Senate blindly join in lock-step to support #BLOTUS, we have to understand the depth of their treasonous behavior. They are putting self interest above their sworn duty. And they know that is what they are doing.
The president should be held fully accountable for all his disgusting words and actions. In my opinion that means impeachment and criminal charges. And if his toadies (is their a better word?) refuse to do their duty, they need to be removed from office and replaced with patriots.
If we do not use the gift of our citizenship we deserve what we currently have. And that is more than sad. It’s pathetic.
This isn’t fake news. This is the actual transcript of Trump’s live broadcast. Most third graders could do better. We all know #BLOTUS cannot tell the truth. It is also painfully obvious he cannot speak in coherent sentences.
At least he made it through this broadcast without any derogatory, racist, or obscene remarks. That’s a win, right?
When those we have elected to lead us fail as dismally as those we now have in leadership, they need to be removed as fast as legally possible and replaced with those who understand that they are elected to serve the citizens, to the other way around.
Words are insufficient to describe my shame over the lack of character displayed by those Senators who continue to support such a critically flawed human as Donald Trump. Such a complete absence of moral leadership deserves nothing but contempt and revulsion.
Those in Congress who refuse to speak up should not be allowed any position of political leadership. They are cowards at best, and treasonous at worst.
Here we go again. Will we even learn from history?
We now have a country where the wealthy are in control. They have and use the power to feather their own nests at the cost of the poor and middle classes. The recent tax scam is only the latest demonstration.
We now live in a nation where 95% of us provide labor and benefits for the power elite. Welcome to a class society where your position is to serve the wealthy, Unless we decide to change it, this is fast becoming our world.
