Trump has not ceased to attack the Constitution since the day he took office. He doesn’t know it. He doesn’t respect it. He doesn’t want it, or anything else, to limit his greed and lust for absolute power and control.
I support the Constitution. That means I do not support Trump in any way, form or fashion. He has ignored his oath to protect the Constitution, and instead has consistently attempted to ignore it, get around it, and destroy it. That not only makes him unfit for office, it makes the lying pig both repugnant and deserving of impeachment.
Human rights are violated when a tax reform plan lines the already bulging pockets of the rich at the cost of life-saving services for the poor. Human rights are violated when corporations are given precedence over the hungry.
The Republican leaders in Congress have clearly demonstrated that they are unafraid of violating human rights on a massive scale. Their willingness to promote and support unfair economic structures for their own benefit is even more morally repugnant than their continued support and protection of a traitorous president.
Those guilty of either or both should be legally removed from office and tried for treason.
Isaac Asimov has captured my feelings perfectly. Those that refuse to agree with fact built on a foundation of thousands of years of science and rational study have a right to their views, but to use those “feeble and childish beliefs” to enact laws that destroy our planet for personal gain is absolutely repugnant…and I, Like Issac Asimov, personally resent it bitterly
