broken promises? or just plain ol’ lies?

No photo description available.

Lies. All Lies. They were lies to begin with, and they are still lies today. These are just a few of the obvious examples of why the racist, whore mongering pig of a president is known to the entire world as #BLOTUS.

Isn’t that treason?

The answer seems crystal clear. So, why is this traitor still in office. He is our lying lapdog’s lapdog. Both should have already been impeached and standing trial for treason.

healthcare…or a criminal enterprise?

Allowing huge pharmaceutical companies to continue gouging the public for life-saving medicines is wrong. It’s about the corruption and greed that is rampant in our society, and how the powerful, wealthy, and elites do whatever necessary to amass even more wealth regardless of the cost or pain inflicted on the poor and the hungry. Such price gouging by big pharma is a clear demonstration of our society’s immorality and loss of values.

a lie is always a lie…

We have a pathological, lying pig in the White House who is unable to even spell truth, much less, practice it. His open attacks on our democratic principles and values never cease, and his greed and hubris knows absolutely no limits.

The danger is not that a majority believes or supports this racist whore monger. The danger is  the constant barrage of lies, the unrelenting attacks on the norms of decency, and the never-ending pressing of the legal limits of our society.

Over time we can become worn down and actually begin to accept all of this as “normal.” We do so, however, at our peril. This must never be allowed to happen. We have to remember that a lie is always a lie.

“A lie doesn’t become truth, wrong doesn’t become right, and evil doesn’t become good just because it is accepted by the majority.”

human dragons…

Powerful words, and a powerful perspective on a real danger…

One of my favorite Fantasy/Science Fiction authors, Ursula K. LeGuin, wrote  that “dragons aren’t real…but they’re true.”  I believe that.

And there’s a good reason why even just the thought of dragons frighten us. We instinctively know they are evil.

For anyone to horde life-saving resources while allowing 820 million of my brothers and sisters to remain chained in the shadow of hunger cannot be called anything less than evil. Allowing 20,000 of our family to succumb to the ravages of hunger every single day is evil incarnate.

So Melissa is spot on. Her tweet is absolutely correct. There are far too many human dragons in our midst. They are known as Billionaires.
