Isn’t that treason?

The answer seems crystal clear. So, why is this traitor still in office. He is our lying lapdog’s lapdog. Both should have already been impeached and standing trial for treason.

Presidents’ Thoughts on Dissent

Although I have used most of these Presidential quotes before, I saw them all collected in a Facebook post and thought they were worth seeing again.

WHAT REAL PRESIDENTS THOUGHT ABOUT DISSENT

It is the very nature of fascism to wrap itself in the flag and then call any criticism of its crimes unpatriotic. Here is a trip down memory lane -back to the days when we had real presidents who at least partially understood that dissent is the patriotic duty of citizens to call our nation to a higher standard.

“Here in America we are descended in blood and in spirit from revolutionists and rebels – men and women who dare to dissent from accepted doctrine. As their heirs, may we never confuse honest dissent with disloyal subversion.” -Dwight D. Eisenhower

“Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear.” -Harry S. Truman

“Without debate, without criticism no administration and no country can succeed and no republic can survive.” -John F. Kennedy

“These economic royalists complain that we seek to overthrow the institutions of America. What they really complain of is that we seek to take away their power. Our allegiance to American institutions requires the overthrow of this kind of power. In vain they seek to hide behind the flag and the Constitution. In their blindness they forget what the flag and the Constitution stand for.” -Franklin D. Roosevelt

“I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical.” -Thomas Jefferson

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.” -Theodore Roosevelt

the only reason left…

Image may contain: 1 person, text that says '"At this point, the only reason left to support Donald Trump, is that he reflects your hateful heart; he shares your contempt for people of color, your hostility toward outsiders, your ignorant bigotry and your feeling of supremacy." John Pavlovitz, Christian Pastor OCCUPY DEMOCRATS'

When the United States House of Representatives passed the resolution to condemn our lying pig of a president’s racist statements only four Republicans refused to support Trump’s actions. It is clear that the majority, the vast majority, of Congressional Republicans have no honor, no shame, and no sense of responsibility for upholding the values of our country.

Those that continue defending the whore-mongering scumbag in the oval office are demonstrating their own racist leanings as well as their crass disregard for their office. Defending a traitor makes one complicit in treason. Congressional Republicans obviously do not care.

so stupid it hurts…

The pain is felt by all of us…and it continues to grow worse by the day.

The only ones numb to the pain are the Republicans who remain silent. Is their silence due to even greater stupidity? Or could it possibly be they have too many secret deals that need to remain hidden? Treason comes in many flavors.

promises, promises, promises

There is a reason that he’s called the Biggest Liar in the United States. The Liar-in-Chief gets the title of #BLOTUS honestly. The only thing this pathological lying traitor does better than tell lies is to commit treason.

worth remembering…

Trump is a lying, racist, traitor who used criminal tactics to gain the presidency. The Republicans in Congress that continue to support him demonstrate they have no shame. They are more guilty  than he is…

“aid & comfort”…let me count the ways

In yesterday’s post I wrote that charging Trump with treason seemed to be warranted. Here is a short list of the many ways this piece of filth has offered aid and comfort to Russia.
